Determined that la vida continúa, Madrid’s Teatro Real has been one of the only theatres in the post-Covid era to stage major productions with a complete orchestra and choir. It’s opened more than a dozen productions during a global pandemic — an ambitious program in the best of times, but in these worst of times, many are asking, “How did they do it?”.
